Title: Mr. Wimple died
Post by BarbaraD on Nov 20th, 2007, 8:12am
For those of you OLD TIMERS (to TV that is) Mr. Wimple ("Don't Squeeze the Charmin'") died yesterday.

For those of you youngins - you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, but Charlie and Bob G remember him.

RIP Mr. Wimple -- I squeezed a lot of Charmin' just to aggraviate you.....

Hugs BD

You are correct chewy...(did I just say that?)  ;)

It was Mr. Whipple.  And I'm not too young to remember him.

Does this mean I'm really and truely officially "old"?  Oh the horror.

someone find me  my walker and orthopiedic shoes

We are both right. Wilson was his real name.

Yep - Wilson was his REAL name, but I went back and changed it to Wimple -- they were saying Wilson on the news -- I'm old - give me a break......

PS Did you squeeze the Charmin' Chewy -- bet you did when no one was lookin' ;;D

Egad.

I remember Mr. Whipple....I'm old.

:P

If this aging thing continues (and it shows no signs of letting up) who knows?  Maybe I'll eventually remember Pinky Lee--and Pinky Lee, of course, is best forgotten.

Best,

George

I think Mr. Whipple (the character, not the actor) was a perv, hiding behind big pallets of toilet paper, watching women squeeze things and getting all excited.

He should have been the spokesman for Hillshire Farms.
