Dave, aka assaultme, aka Syd Barrett, currently aka Groov...

His dad passed away late Friday morning. They were very close. The funeral is tomorrow, Tuesday. He will be staying awhile with his mom, and said he'd be back online in about a week.

His dad's request was to make sure Dave's mom was taken care of, this has been especially hard on them both.

Dave, you have our deepest condolences, and your family will be in out thoughts. Please, if you need anything at all, feel free to call me. We'll talk when you get back. [smiley=hug.gif]

I was afraid when we hadn't seen you on chat for awhile this might have happened. My sincere sympathy goes out to you and your family. My prayers are also with you for strenghth as you help your mother cope with this loss.

It was three years ago this past November when I lost my Father. We too were close. Please know that It does get better with time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
