Post by schaan on Nov 18th, 2007, 12:05pm thanks for the hook up adam i had never heard of them till now. my daughter has quite a voice so i bought her a karoke thing last year and am trying to steer away from all the teeny bop crap. this is a bit much for her but its cool to hear her try stuff, she pretty much got averile lavign down , stevie nicks is difficult and i suppose she will have to hit puberty before i get to hear the hardcore stuff. cant wait. ;;D |

Post by George_J on Nov 21st, 2007, 8:57pm Adam, if you ever have a chance to do it, see them in concert--they not only put on a great show, but they stayed for three encores. Amy Lee ended up singing for almost two hours straight, and she doesn't hold back. Every song was pushing the limits. Don't know how long she can keep doing that..... Man oh man, what a voice. I guess we left too early. A friend of mine who was in the mosh pit said that she came back out, signed autographs, and hobnobbed with the crowd afterwards. Sounds like she had just as good a time as we did. Two backup bands beforehand--JulianK, a metal bunch that didn't do much for me, (but Ellen liked them) , and SickPuppies--hellacious musicians that I would have gone to see on their own. And I will if they come back. We ended up with about 4 hours of music, and a bunch of T-shirts. ;) Good times. Best, George |
