Brid has recently got a penpal and Barney wants one too - he particularly would like ot write to someone like him who has a parent with CH - anyone out there with a kid - male or female who would like to write to Barney?!

He would absolutely be over the moon.

email and snail mail - I think half of it is that he wants letters to come through the post to be honest!

Actually while we're on the subject, Brid (pronounced Breeege) is 13 and I'm sure she would be more than delighted if anyone else wants to write to her.

I might have to do something like this in the newsletter, what do you think? Would a penpal exchange work?

Mireille would  love to be their penpal but she can only write her name  [smiley=laugh.gif] and all the letters of the alphabet but with no meaning whatsoever  [smiley=laugh.gif]...as soon as she does a little better she will start writing letters to both of them  ;;D

How old is Barney?

I have sons aged 9 and 10 and two daughters aged 5 and 6.

LOL I mailed it for her on Tuesday Pep! It depends where its going - I've had letters to the US take anything between a couple of days and a couple of wees. I think it depends on where it goes when it gets there  ::) (Just hope it isn't JF-bloodyK!)

Barney is 12 Dennis but he isn't "old" for his age if that makes sense. He's still a "kid" unlike some 12 year olds who are quite grown up.  :)

Yorky you nut! Are you bringing them with you when you come down after your holiday? I'm sure tey'd all get on really well!
