Oboma wants to get elected (according to his wife) because the time has come for a "black" man to be president. Never mind he doesn't have any experience. John Edwards has resorted to name calling (and I love him, but don't like the name calling thingy). Hillary isn't all that bad -- what has she done that's so outrageous? She's married to Bill Clinton? Is that her sin? And what did he do that was so bad? Got our country out of debt? Set up diplomatic agreements with countries we could have been fighting? Had us on a path to growth? Got all the sex he could handle? Oh that's his bad sin? Well, what does that have to do with anything? He didn't do a damn thing that most of you guys haven't done (if you're truthful) - he got caught and lied about it - big deal. That didn't have a damn thing to do with running the country - Monica was a tramp (and that's been established) not a poor little innocent. But in the last seven years we've gone into debt to the point we'll never get out - we're in a war needlessly and getting more of our kids killed daily for no damn good reason. Jobs are being oursourced - our country is being taken over by illegals and our president thinks this is just wonderful. Our elderly are starving and going without medical care and our president tells us what a great job he's doing and that he doesn't make mistakes. The rich are getting richer and the poor are doing without. SEVEN years and it's still Bill Clinton's fault according to most of you as well as George Bush. Personally, I'd like to see Rudy and Hillary on the same ticket. I think between the two of them, they might stand a chance of straightening out this mess. Hugs BD |

But the truth is, business, the economy and so many other things take a long time to change/improve/degrade that the are playing us for fools if we are to believe their hype. Take, for instance, the dotcom and tech bubble that burst shortly after Bush got in. Bush was blamed for this by his political rivals. That is absolute bullshit. I agree, he is totally incompetent !!! But to believe he was involved in it makes one look like a fool. Conversely, Bush's people tried to blame Bill Clinton...stating that it happened so early in his Presidency that it couldnt have been his fault.....suggesting it was Clintons. Truth is, for those with an actual functioning brain, it was NEITHER. It ran it course and made it's own correction. Capitalism at it's norm. All of this is just more finger pointing and blame game. Ya know, I was talking to my attorney last night and as usual, we always get on politics. He made a comment - he said he was working 100% more now for 10% of the money he was 7 years ago. Got me to thinking -- how many more of us are doing the same. In the past 7 years, we've seen benefits cut, pay cuts, SS barley above the poverty line (some not even there), non existent medical care (and no relief in sight if you're an American citizen), taxes thru the roof (small businesses have been hit hard) unless you're big business and jobs going down the drain (I don't care how they manipulate the statitics to show different). I don't have all the facts (only opinions) that some of you more intelligent people do - all I know is that under a demo president, I was doing a whole lot better than under a repub one. But the blame (if we're passing it out) should fall on Congress for not doing their job and fixing a "broke" problem. Immigration should be addressed - not danced around and discussed to death. We've got illegals here - get them OUT! End of problem! What's to discuss? Other countries don't have this problem. We fix our immigration system and some of this other stuff (terrorism) might just not be such a BIG threat. Fix the immigration problem and our medical problem can be worked out because we'd have "extra" money we're not spending on illegals to spend on OUR folks! (not to mention the SS problem).
