All the 11/11's (the date) on the computer are killing me today... Today is the 2nd year anniversary of my Mothers death...
She wanted so badly to be with my Dad after he died in June 2005... and she got her wish on Veterans day that year. They loved that song Always. I play it at their grave whenever I am down in Waltham. Today we will celebrate her life at an anniversary Mass (Service). Next year we will combine their Masses in April because they were married on April fools day and I would rather celebrate their happy marriage than their death dates.
For those of you that weren't part of our group in 2005 my Dad was a healthy 82 year old gentleman who died from that dreaded MRSA infection after complications from a diabetic surgery. That horrible illness tortured stripped and killed him. I had to stop the respirator on Fathers day weekend which I did by myself, though I am the baby of the family. Dad wanted to be 100 years old and I have no doubt that he would have made it there if not for MRSA. He never smoked or drank. He was my hero. He struggled to live when we pulled the vent and that is a memory that I will never forget. When Mom died she passed gently and I was also there for her passing which I have to say was a gift to me and I have no doubt he was holding her hand.
Sorry to be so gloomy and sad today... I miss them so much. We have all shared so much here and I love you all so deary as my framily... thanks for allowing this forum for my tears today.

Timo is feeling bit sad as well; this is the day his mother passed away in 2000.

I'll never forget Ree - I remember both sad days and I remember how hard we all prayed for him to make it - we were all on tenterhooks right alongside of you.
