Title: flu shot trigger
Post by schaan on Nov 10th, 2007, 11:34pm
well ive been experiencing ch like symptoms in the fact that i have a fever and my headache is on the usual side.  i got a flu shot  three days ago and i had three  # 6's   and today i had a  still lingering 8 or 9.  my usual cocktail took it down slower than usual   coffee   tylenol  ibbruprofin and aspirin.

does getting sick  cause cycles?   the flu shot????

then i tried to take my head off in a very stupid accident this aft.    see injury related trigger.

or   maybe my cycles are just getting closer together.

can i get regular headaches ( whatever that is )  but just on the one side.      are they always  ch related    or just  a headache and my right side is the weak link and is the side to get it even if its not ch related?

sorry i only seem to pop up in times of need,  ill try harder to help others too.

Mark Twain once said that he was responsible for the fall of the Confederacy, because he deserted from the Confederate Army, and two weeks later, the Confederacy fell.

Simply because something happens near the same time that something else happens does not mean that the two things are cause and effect.

I spent a really long time trying to isolate "triggers" or precipitating events of some kind--dietary, gustatory, physiological, psychological, astronomical, astrological, epistomological, horticultural, sexual, meteorological, phrenological, biochemical, Dewey decimal, statutory, flatutory, and haberdashery.  I believed that there must be some magical thing I could do to avoid them.

Nothing made any difference.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you're starting a new cycle, and there probably isn't any reason for it that you'll be able to pinpoint.  It's just time.  The beast does what it does.

But you'll get through it.  As you know, we always do.

Best wishes,

George

well the fever and other crap are gone but the shadows persist,  havent had another 8-10  but a couple 5 and 6's  ( this scale helps alot btw)  lots of shadows but the ergotamine and tylenol and coffee seem to be holding them at bay.  scared to sleep     yeah  its the frickin bastard back again.  i was hoping it was just flu crap.

guess not.

thanks   johnny
i kinda knew it wasnt related to my attempted head removal either?  lol

look at it this way, you may have a new cycle of CH but at least you will not be bother with a nasty flu what for sure will make CH symptoms worse...

time to get my flu shot too  ;;D

And on top of it. You have us........

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not that I would wish this on anyone, but even for those that dont post, just knowing that this place and people are here, make a world of difference.

Get that O2 if you can.  See if that will help as well.
