I usually get childishly excited when the first snow comes! Don't know about this year, though. It's getting colder in here this week, so snow is only a matter of time. Parts of Finland already have it. :)

It's actually all wheel drive with traction control, but that doesn't mean I have to like driving in it.  I'm just safer while doing it.    ;;D


Actually there is a cold drizzle outside by us.  Was on the morning coffee trip and Ruth and I got nailed by it.  Wind is pretty damn strong out there too now.

Mel that pic looks ominus.  Maybe if you take down that summer umbrella on your porch and put it away for the winter, the snow will come.

We got about 2 minutes of ice pellets tht rained down in a mini white out.  Than it all stopped... YEAAH!!!!

I was getting depressed I'd have to fule up getting pelted with that sheete.

Ok, we got a bit of snow last night, but because it snowed for about 5 minutes, the snow melted almost instantly. And rain today.

I live in San Diego..I've heard of snow.....snow cold,,,cold bad...so snow bad????

My daughter goes to school in Denver and she's like you, can't wait for the first dusting of snow!!!! I'll send any cold San Diego has over your way! ;;D

Four wheel drive/ all wheel drive is good to make you go in the stuff, but it does nothing for the stopping!  TV shows them going fast in the ads, but doesn't show them trying to keep it out of the ditch or from an accident when another who thinks he can go really fast in the snow pulls out in front of you. ;;D

Two years ago after a snow storm here they were having fun on one of the TV stations talking about all the cars being pulled out of the ditches.  80% were 4wd SUV's. ;;D

No snow here but the temperatures have gone way down. Very cold right now. It should be no wonder why so many people are sick----65 on Monday ---59 yesterday----34 right now. I'm with Paul ----used to love the snow, but now it's a pain in the rump.

A little more snow but it isn't sticking much around me. They got 10 inches at the county ski slopes though...wish I skied but I'm not insane.
