Every time I'm about to go on vacation (Next week) I get bombarded with projects at work? Of course everything has to be done before I leave to go hunting.

Most of these things are the result of someone else's lack of planning or communication and it pisses me off to no end >:(

Sorry for venting, I guess I'll just suck it up and "Git R Done" ;;D

We'll see how much I'm appreciated when I ask for a 10K raise on Friday. I started a new dept. 2 years ago and have been profitable since day one. Its time for them to pay the piper.

It's called "workin' for The Man," my friend.

If you have the power to say "A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part," then you should exercise it. Unfortunately, most of us don't have that kind of power when we're workin' for The Man.

The way I see it you have two choices: venture out on your own or just git 'er dun. A lot of times, folks who venture out on their own end up not even having the time to go hunting. So, we swallow it, do what needs to be done, and get extra enjoyment out of our recreational time.

There is one other choice: Say Fuckitall and go live in a van down by the river. ;;D

it's the same for me....except I am "the man".

custom conversion van and river side location even sounds good to me on some days......
