This is what you end up with when your tire blows out going 60mph in the center lane of the expressway.....

I really should mention.....

I'm fine, though a bit shaken.

Car's fine.

One nice guy stopped to see if I had someone coming to help.

The world's second-nicest sheriff helped - went looking for the spare (which is well-hidden under the car), then spent half an hour trying to lower it so we could get it out, and called the county's towing service for me when my didn't show up....

Glad you are ok,  a 60 mph remote control (rear tire) blow out can be interesting to control.

I think you should get a matching ones for the other three.  Be different, show your individuality.

shut up echo!

You will be ok with the donut tire if you only make left hand turns. You won't wear that left rear tire. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Ask Teresa.

Ran into the world's second-nicest sheriff again today when I stopped to get my morning liter of diet mountain dew.  He was leaving as I pulled in and actually waited until I was done and came back out - just to say hi and ask how things went! How cool is that?

Man...Liz you're slipping. A man in a uniform  ;) is nice and helps you in your time of need and THEN goes out of his way to wait for you just to say hi and ask after your welfare.  And you didn't check his left hand for a ring?

Call me later and I will give you a crash course on this kind of thing.  No..no you don't have to thank me.  ;;D

Maybe not the best looking tire at the moment, but serves it's purpose...and gives you the opportunity to show off "your baby".  :D

Beemers are great cars...do you have a German plate on the front?   I have friends that drive BMW's (not me  though   >:()...and the German plates look great.

One of them goes to Germany every year...and gets the plates.  Glad you are ok.
