Title: Think "drunk dialing".....
Post by alienspacebabe on Oct 29th, 2007, 9:04pm
So..... last night I did some 'dream dialing' again. I did that about 6 months ago - called Teresa in the middle of the night to tell her about the people living at the bottom of my bed.

Last night, I called my mom - and worried her!!

So, if I called any of you after 9pm last night - whatever I said, don't hold it against me!!!

Lizzie, who is apparently *exceedingly* stressed!

You mean it's not true?  All those things you said to me and the promises you made?

That's a lot of cold showers wasted, darlin', and there's a drought on here!

You're not alone Lizzie.  A friend told he woke to 28 messages on his phone a time ago.  It was all one long conversation I was having.

but yes, I was.

Wonder though if visiting England.

You might have a towel shelf and maybe me a place to hang it.

I got a bit confused too between the two when I read the title of the thread and mixed them up in my post but dream dialing is different.  Dreaming would seem less conscious than drunk dialing, that latter can be recalled many times if someone is patiently persistant enough to remind you.  Dream dialing perhaps only if you wake up during.
However, I've found it seems the most difficult for friends to recall when drinking is when they borrow money.   ;;D

LMAO -- ASP you may have just replaced psychiastrists... when we have problems we can just "dream dial" and get all our "dreams" out and then "not remember" them....  I LOVE IT....

Hugs  BD (who may take this up as a "hobby") Ya'll stand by your phone now ya hear!!! :-* :-* :-*

Hey are you on Ambien... they said that it causes people to sleep walk or dream walk... and they also raid the refridgerator too... and not even have recollection of anything they did... move the phone if it isn't within arms length you will probably not call...  lock yourself in too... love ree

Yup. I'm assuming that's the culprit....

Seems that I gush like a drunk - know how drunk women walk around telling everyone that they love them? LOL. Geeza.... now I'm wondering how many guys (yikes! gals too) I called, drunkenly professing my undying love! I think I'll go hide in a corner....

Last night I took the batteries out of all of the phones before bed LOL. They were still out this morning, so hopefully I didn't dream/sleep-dial.

BarbaraD - you're absolutely right! There are certain people you don't want to call in that state tho - like the guy you've only had one date with.... or the guy you just hang out with....

Lizzie, who really is wondering WTF she said to the people she dream-dialed....

I am terrified to take ambien...Im afraid I'll be wandering the halls, undressed and "asleep"...the commercials scared the crap out of me.

Good Luck!!!  ;;D ;;D
