Title: not liking his Tat any longer Post by Maffumatt on Oct 27th, 2007, 7:35pm http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0,23739,22640695-5013016,00.html?from=mostpop http://www.news.com.au/common/imagedata/0,,5717196,00.jpg PROUD Paul Croft got a tattoo of Harry Potter wizard Albus Dumbledore on his back but is now being teased by pals after he was outed as gay. Proud Paul, 36, spent a year having the Hogwarts headmaster etched into his skin as a surprise for his five kids. But the factory worker has been the butt of jokes ever since Harry Potter author JK Rowling revealed last week that Dumbledore was in love with a fellow male sorcerer. Paul, of Nottingham, moaned yesterday: "It's been terrible. I've always liked Dumbledore - just not in that way. |

Title: Re: not liking his Tat any longer Post by Redd on Oct 27th, 2007, 8:02pm Anyone whos self image is so tightly attached to a fictional charactor, has too loose of a grip on that self image to begin with. It just goes to proove, that charactors that people identify with is on an intellectual/behavioral/ spiritual level. Sexuality is only a fraction of the entire person. Leave that facet out of the mix, and we can identify and even bond with people. It's the insecure who take issue with sexual preferance. JMHO. |

Title: Re: not liking his Tat any longer Post by Maffumatt on Oct 27th, 2007, 8:23pm Sexual preference didn't even occur to me, that someone was stupid enough to put some old guy off a move on their back did. Had a buddy that had his girl across his back, she left him a month later........ |
