How do you look up someone's ip address on the net?

What if its a webmail address.. is it possible to find out?

If that doesn't work I'm going to have to take more drastic measures.

Anything you can help out with is appreciated.

I did save them... just waiting. If I don't get answers in the next 24 hours its gonna get serious.

Don't wait Pep. If this feels wrong to you it is. Print the e-mails out and bring to the Police. They have guys that are trained to do the tracking. Besides, it might be dangerous if you find him first.

Of course I'm not saying who it would be dangerous for ;)

As for the e-mails themselves, you can't get the IP address but you should able to get the e-mail headers to say which system they came through on their way to you. Unfortunately, unless this guys is really stupid, this can all be faked pretty easily. The reason the Police will have better luck is that you may not be the only one targeted and they might already know something about him from previous complaints.

Don't take any unnecessary chances :-/

Hey pep My desk top entertainment center is slow today but, are you feeling that you are in danger? if so do you have family or a cher nearby? get there and get pd involved NOW. Dont wait till something happens. We need all our people here and dont take kindly to someone threatening or hurting them espicially CHenz!

Speak to Beeyul - he helped me greatly when I had some shit like this two years ago, right after David left in fact. It scared the bejaysus out of me but what he told me to do made the police here sit up and beg and it got the problem solved. You're lucky, they take it alot more seriously there than they do here

Ha!

The FACT is it started out via US postal service; then it moved to email.

It's someone where I live, and its VERY creepy. I think I have gotten to the bottom of this. Just one more day.

Thanks to my friends for the info, but can't trace that email anyway. I appreciate your concern.

My sister who lives alone puts a pair of size 12 well worn workboots on her doorsteps and always yells out " Honey! I am home ! " whenever she comes home, just to give people the impression that there is a man around the house, to ward off potential stalkers.

Its not easy to live alone as a woman. It can be scary at times !

Smith and Wesson are my very good friends and they sleep right beside my bed every night. They are also kind enough to ride with me when I travel. They are such good friends and I feel really safe knowing that they won't let me down.
