Meghan and I went fishing on Sunday, Meghan caught the nicest Tautog, a beauty. So being a fisherman I threw him in the cooler, gave her a big kiss, and said keepem comin, and she started to cry.

I had to throw the fish back so he could be with his family LOL.

Just thought I'd share ;;D

Sean, in about 5 yrears or so, be prepared to swing a bat, not a fishing line. She is gorgeous and the boys will be at your door and fishing will NOT be on their mind.

I too cant see but, that is a great thing you have done for her showing that DAD has compassion and one day many years from now she will find a guy with compassion. you will and are teaching what a MAN is to her and she will thank you for this, till then I thank you for teaching her a great lesson.

That is cool. She is a sweetheart.

Since moving up to OR, my kids love fishing, even though my son has 0 patience and tells me to tell the fish to bite already. I have to tell him to throw some back cause he wants to keep them all, even if they are only 6 inches. Unless we are over at one of the channels here in town. There is a Blue Herring that got hurt I guess 10+ years back according to the old dudes that fish dwn there, and they all call him Gus. He will eat anything you dont want or are not fast enough to throw back. Hell we had to run him off a few times cause he gets right up on you when you are pulling one in and I'm afraid that he will eat on ehtat is still on the line. Sometimes it seems that he can tell you are going to get a bite before you feel it. He will fly right up and sit and watch you for about 30 secs and then, Wham Fish On!!!

Enjoy these times, she will remember them forever.

She is a something Sean, brains and beauty. Yeah, if a little tear rolled down that pretty cheek I'd be tossing back fish with some bait to take back to the kids, too.

Sean - what a pretty little girl she is. She's sure changed since the card you sent me last year with a pic of both kids. Growing up way too fast, Daddy - get the shotgun ready! ;)
