Title: DJ you crack me up
Post by Linda_Howell on Oct 7th, 2007, 10:49pm

up til they had a baby...DJ's pic on his posts was one of him with his zipperhead and a caption that read:

   Got hair?

I just now noticed he has changed that.  Pic is the same, but it now says...

Got Sleep?     LMAO

Don't feel dumb.  I did that until El was about a year old.  After that, she began to climb out of her crib at night--we'd find her asleep at the foot of our bed in the morning.  Never heard a sound.  She was sneaky.

Best wishes,

George

I can totally relate!!!  My baby is 7 months old today, and I still go in and put my hand on his back to make sure he is breathing!!  Must be a Mommy thing, or a parenting thing as George seems to agree.  Glad you got some zzzz's Steph!  I know they are much needed and appreciated when you get them.....Glad all is well.
Baby's are a blessing ;;D

Quickly approaching that "grandparent-ish" age when babies are great - as long as you can hand them back to their rightful owners.

Grandparent age Bill  :o :o :o   Roy is only 15.

Grandparent-ish age, Linda.

We're 46 - that qualifies as firmly in the "no more babies from this pair" age.

The difference between "grandparent" and "grandparent-ish" is exactly what you describe. Our baby is only 15. It's the difference between not wanting any more of our own and not wanting him to have any of his own - yet. ;;D

Oh Linda - never mind him . . . he seems to have forgotten a pair of surgeries 14 and 12 years ago that rendered us beyond childbearing . . . .

I remember my surgery and the K10 I had coming out of annistesia..trust me wasn't a pleasent experience for anyone involved.  AND under a morphine drip that was useless, I made some rather unpleasent comments about the surgeon while higher than a kite
thankk Gawd he understood and just let them float.

Dave would check Breezy so often that he woke her up... and then he would say phew shes fine... and I would say YA GET The F***away from her...lol

he also drove home from the hospital going about 20 miles per hour... he was afraid she was doing to crack or something...

Babies are sweet enjoy him... and God bless
Ree
