Although I have always been told that time heals all wounds, this one seems to be a slow healer. :'(

One of the many memories I have from 9/11 is the phone call that I received from one of my closest friends, Pat.

Pat lives in High Falls, NY and works at Kingston Hospital.

The hospital was contacted and was told to be prepared for victims from the Twin Towers collapse to be transferred to Kingston Hospital since they were expecting so many injuries.

The hospital staff rushed to get ready to accept patients, called in all staff available and then waited......and waited....and waited............

I still can remember the phone call I received from Pat.  Through her tears she told me, "Cyn, no patients arrived....not one!"
