Title: Re: Just in case... Post by Lizzie2 on Sep 30th, 2007, 9:27pm Helen, Sorry you're sick...and sorry I missed seeing you/talking to you on Saturday... :-/ Just got home from Syracuse myself - an interesting weekend as always! I'm exhausted and working 6 days this week, starting with a 12 hour day tomorrow...but wanted to say hi and I hope you feel better.... Hugz, Carrie |

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by LeLimey on Sep 30th, 2007, 9:28pm Nope *hic* not gonna say a word *burp* against Paul *fart* He went out and bought me this WONDERFUL new medicine. Its amazing. I've never had anything like it - its made by a company called Bud Weiss ER and after 24 doses in fifteen minutes I can honestly say I've never seen anyone more attractive or intelligent than Paul... ;;D *snore* ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz |

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by cynjeep89 on Sep 30th, 2007, 9:36pm I'm glad Paul went for the Bud Weis ER instead of the regular Budweiser. You see, the regular Budweiser is for normal aches and pains such as bad bosses, ugly spouses and irritating neighbors that won't go away. The Bud Weis ER is the extended pain relief formula. Works much better than the regular Budweiser. For the flu, I suggest Heinekens...the more, the colder, the better you will feel. |

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by LeLimey on Sep 30th, 2007, 9:49pm Hi Carrie, I was looking forward to seeing you again and I'm sorry I missed you too - I wouldn't want to pass this along though although I'm happy to report that (so far) I don't seem to have it as bad as Paul did at least. Speaking of which.. on 09/30/07 at 21:41:50, Paul98 wrote:

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by Lizzie2 on Sep 30th, 2007, 9:54pm Helen, No problem! Yeah and since I'm on my chemo crapola (for the autoimmune...), getting sick isn't really an option for me! I did just have a cold a couple weeks ago, which wasn't as bad as some that I've had, so I'm pretty lucky with that! On the methotrexate, any colds/infections I get seem to hang on and get very severe, since my immune system has been forced to stay quiet... ;) The last thing I need right now is to be knocked out of work...! I really did miss you, though!! It sucked being so close yet not able to visit!! I didn't bring the suitcase up since I hadn't heard from you prior to going up, but I guess that means I'll have to make a special trip across the pond one of these days to bring it back to you! hehe Once again, hope you're feeling better soon! Since this was my first trip up to Syracuse in over 3 years, I don't know if I'll get up there when you visit next, but you never know! Hugz, Carrie :) |

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by cynjeep89 on Sep 30th, 2007, 9:57pm Damn Paul...you went from "the mosterest wonderful person in the world" to a "bacon sandwich" in 2 hours and 8 minutes. Do you realize you just broke the land speed record for going from hero to zero? My suggestion for reversing this situation? Go for the Heinekens and go for them now!!!!! [smiley=laugh.gif] |

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by sandie99 on Oct 1st, 2007, 5:42am I thought that the first post was very... hmm... different to Helen's usual style. But then again, Paul could have... you know... bewitched Helen during her visit. All kinds of things happen... ;) Glad to see that the Helen we know is back! ;;D Hugs & short recovery from the flu, Sanna |

Title: Re: Just in case... Post by PollyPocket on Oct 1st, 2007, 5:27pm Glad to see y'all are on the mends :) And Cyn is sorta right about the Heinekens, Helen..... but you may prefer HEINY-kins. They come in a variety of sizes, but the best are TINY HEINIES.. THE TIGHTER THE BETTER ;) Always good for what ails ya ;;D Snot-free hugs to both of you Jen |
