Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by sandie99 on Sep 29th, 2007, 8:52am OMG... :o You know, I DON'T even want to be able to do that... I do live with a man who owns a pet snake, Trigger, one of those strangling ones, so if someone wants to start practicing, Timo probably would sell you Trigger... ;;D Sanna |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by sandie99 on Sep 29th, 2007, 9:28am ;;D Barry, I believe that the creature in that pic is a hamster... Actually, Eetu, Kasper and Trigger live in the same room, our living room, but in the opposite ends and with no direct eye contact. Trigger's cage is made of glass and it cannot escape it. When Timo gives it food, he makes sure that it cannot escape during the process. Eetu & Kasper smelled the snake once and then they were, indeed, scared. :( But before that and since then they really don't care. They know that they rule in here. [smiley=laugh.gif] But having E&K is one of the reasons Timo is selling Trigger. I'm not that keen on snakes, but as far as snakes come... Trigger is cute. I would add a pic of it, but I don't have one. But I'm sure that some of the guys in here would love Triggger - its skin has this pattern on it, which is a shape of a skull. I'm just lucky that I fell in love with Timo and not his pal who has pretty much snake zoo in his house... I kinda hope that he has mentioned that to his fiance, who lives in another city for the time being. ;;D Sanna |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by barry_sword on Sep 29th, 2007, 9:33am Sanna, I was wondering if someone would catch the Hamster portraying a Guinee Pig. [smiley=laugh.gif] It was the only thing close to what I tried to find on that site. LOL! Barry :) |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by sandie99 on Sep 29th, 2007, 9:46am Barry, it's a cute pic, though! ;;D I saved it. I actually found a pic of a snake similar to Trigger: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b176/sandie99/nearlytrigger.jpg The real Trigger is small, because it has eating disorder. It eats lot smaller things than Eetu and Kasper, so they are, in that sense as well, safe. Sanna |

Ray, Trigger is a king python, python regius, which is also called ball python. Timo is not absolutely sure if Trigger is a she or he, but he thinks that Trigger is a he. PF days, Sanna |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by Lotus on Sep 29th, 2007, 4:35pm All I can think of is that her upper airway is all clear, definitely no blockages. Maybe we could start doing this for diagnosis instead of CT scan, more "natural" and no radiation involved. What say you ? ;;D |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by Lotus on Sep 29th, 2007, 5:44pm See it from my point of view Kevin. The snake is alive ( albeit looking a bit pissed ;;D ), the human is alive ( albeit looking a bit weird ;) ), the airway is clear ..... so everyone is safe ! But the purple shirt !! My God, imagine the hours of counselling it will take to alert him to the issues of gender identity crisis .... ::) |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by Kevin_M on Sep 29th, 2007, 6:04pm You know Annette, it never occurred to me. Today I am changing out the summerwear and casual for long sleeves while checking online here because I hate doing it. Three closets full and noticed only one purple and white plaid shirt. I must have thought it went with white pants or something, no purple pants anywhere or matching green snake. ;) |

Title: Re: I'll bet you can't do this..... Post by George_J on Sep 30th, 2007, 2:53am The more I look at that picture, the more I wonder how this person of undetermined gender got the snake in there, anyway. Obviously headfirst, because tail-first would mean the scales would go backwards, and that might be a little raspy. If headfirst, how? Does a person persuade the snake to go in there of its own volition, and then wait for it to find its way out? Or does a person sort of...snort...the snake...through? :P How does one practice this before using an actual snake? I mean--you don't start with a snake right at first, do you? You practice. First, a strand of spaghetti, maybe. Then--what--a stalk of cooked asparagus? Then something alive, or recently alive. But small. Preferably small. Then you try your first snake. Probably a rough go, but like anything else, it gets easier. Before you know it, you and your favorite snake (I'm sure there are favorites--not all snakes are created equal) are wowing the crowds down at the bazaar, and the shekels just keep pouring in. I'm probably over-analyzing, but stuff like that bothers me. Best, George |

[smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] That shirt must be very dark purple...or my puter's colors are seriously out of place. And I admit; I'm not sure if that person is a man or a woman... Eyelashes are feminine... but not that much anything else. And George, I don't even want to think about how that was done... ;;D But I doubt that it's comfortable and fun. ;;D Then again... we do consider very different things to be ´fun´. Sanna |
