Jonny, I may have misinterpreted your response, or the above quote, but my 2 cents, (not worth much I know :P)
I saw this not as a jab or a barb, but rather sound advice to ANY on these boards, that these black squiggles are regularly misinterpreted and out of context without body language to help understand, and I felt that the advice offered was truly a good piece of advice for everyone, not necessarily a specific barb.

My interpretation was that we should all be careful and considerate of the things we say - every action has a consequence, and it may not be the way we intended a statement and could have negative connotations. I read it that it was intended as genuine advice and not meant to be a veiled threat.

Of course I always try to see the best in every situation, so I may be off base. I just wanted everyone to consider that these squiggles may not be what we think.
