Although I stand by my ORIGINAL comments I said some nasty things to a brother that I have known for years, for that I am sorry!

I apologize to Mike and this family for that whole needless thread.

To all, I'm sorry that I contributed to the funnies about a choice of underwear on Jonny's thread.

Both Jonny and Mike are great, stand up guys.  They have a difference of opinions, and words were said between them.  All I do know is, that if Jonny apologizes for something he has said or done, you can take that apology as coming from his heart with complete sincerity- embedded in concrete.  He means it.

Jonny and Mike, I sincerely hope you both work out your differences and remain the friends that I think you are.

Let's all look back at the 'apology'. The fact is, this isn't an apology to me at all. It may be an apology to the board for everyone having to endure such madness, but it sure isn't an apology to me. In the first sentence, he says he sticks by his original 'comments'. Those weren't comments Jonny, they were insults. And if you're sticking by what you said, then it's no apology to me at all.

Although, I'm no match for Jimi's toughness  ;)  People like me don't back down from anyone insulting or agressing in any way. I wouldn't expect anyone to back down from insults or aggression. That's just how I was raised.

Reminds me of when I was little and this kid came over to 'beat me up'. He stood out front with his friends all of them had baseball bats. I didn't want to go out there. But my mom and dad made me go out there. They handed me a board and said go take care of this now. So I went out and stood my ground. All of the other kids thought I was crazy and it ended up with me chasing them all down the street swinging a board. I've never backed down since then and I don't plan on starting now.

Jonny, you apologize for the 'comments' you made, and I'll forgive and drop it now. Anything short of that and I won't. Sorry, it's not my nature.

Plz, think about your decision and don't just shoot off at the mouth. Is it really worth it to insult me like you did ?? And plz remember, I didn't start this, you did.

If you're going to spend your time on the internet you have to realize that other people are in control of their keyboards and you are in control of yours. The other keyboards don't always type things that make you feel good about you. And that even if you could, for instance, take someone's "F" and "O" and "Y" key, you would still have to accept that there are occasions you still feel the brunt of the occasional "uck u" now and then.

Take a break, catch our breath and do something different for a few days, but don't go "guest". Someone just stole my "D" key -- "ont be a rama queen"

All I can say is that the longer a rift is allowed to continue, the harder it will be to bridge the gap.

When you go to the closet in the morning will you choose a suit made of rubber or glue? Rubber is great for fighting the beast, and glue is always sticky! The glue is what holds friends together, and the rubber keeps those friends from chafing the friendship away.

BTW they do have glue that will stick to rubber so you can patch your flat tire, and move on down the road.

If you were raised to hold a grudge after an apology, you need to rethink if that was right.  Conflict is a given, aggressive conflict among men common, and apologies are the only out we have available.  Besides, intentionally holding onto a grudge is like holding onto a dead animal, it's just gonna make you sick.
