I need your help with a project that I am working on. If you have at anytime attended a DavCon, please take a minute or two to write me a few sentences about what davcon and its fellow attendees meant to you.

Meeting the people at DavCon meant a lot to me, I had made the previous convention but I had been walking around with my head in the clouds there, but the DavCon was different, less formal and all. I was able to really get to know some other suffers there, to see the real people behind the screen names.I was very impressed and wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

I agree with what Matt said as far as Davcon being less structured than a convention. It's just a relaxing weekend with no guidlines or schedules and you can come and go as you please.
I've met some of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life at Davcon and wouldn't miss it for anything.

I've never been but if you might need a toss in reply, DAVCON always brings a special enthusiasm to the board. It's been many years now and the regular attendees look forward to and have adhered to the commitment of going, which Matt did well in describing why.
The event brings people out that are again heard from to gather together, or expanding with friends and relatives of members seen in casual pictures and smilingly commented on about meeting. There are attendees that I've seen for the first time that way, some which post here but I never got to know but instills a friendly manner toward them.
I think it is the widest and most devoted member-initiated and oriented undertaking maintained for friendship, a gathering which has benefits to many beyond those lucky enough to attend.

"DavCon" wow what can I say I am blessed with so many new and great friends I feel like they are my real "sis's & bros's" the very first year I wasnt around so much even tho I was only 6 blocks away but was shy and hadnt been on CH message board much and that year wasnt a good year for me second year marrage wasnt going good and still didnt attend much still kinda shy then too but 3rd year stayed a lot and each time meeting more new friends and last year was there as much as I could (I was staying taking care of my dad who is in bad health) I think last year with DJ and wifey there was the greatest its the food drinks convesations even the kids of all you great people too they are so special kind neet really outgoing possitive too. too bad we dont do a meet & greet in better weather cause of the neat outdoor things everyone misses here (outdoor skate bike park down by the river even tho my son who is 21 rides year round they take heaters and hot blowers down there and heat and clean it so they can ride even in the snow lol) I just wish everyone could come to a DavCon its just oh so groovy Ü opps old saying well I am old hehehehe Terry
