My only daughter in law is about to go into surgery downtown here.

My son Timmy is with her while I wait for my Lin and my grandbaby Mika to get home from school later this afternoon so that we can all be together.

Stacy is having some fairly complex stuff done to try and save a kidney so we will be there well before she gets to the recovery room.

I know that everything is going to go fine, but we are all a bit scared. I am going to take my new and improved Ha's ::) down to the hospital so rest assured "they" will take very good care of her.

A prayer or vibe for my kids would of course be welcome! Surgery starts at 12:30...

Just part of the wonder of "this" family is knowing that you all are there. I know that it always works that way whether we are lucky enough to have the time and opportunity to respond or not.

Please know that we (here in my immediate family) feel and deeply appreciate the vibes.

Stacy is going to be fine and should be home in a couple days so then I can start to feel sorry for us instead of the poor nurses's and doc's. ::)

Thanks again and I will answer PM's as time and life allow.

You are a magical bunch of misfits you know and I am honored to be a part of the mayhem ;)

All we've got from here, Tim.

My nephew, Sean, had to have a kidney removed a couple of years ago. (It had apparently been non-functional since birth, but no one knew.) He's doing fine--and I'm sure your daughter-in-law will be fine as well. Try not to worry--these younglings recover quite quickly.

Tim, I am glad everything went fine with the surgery. if you need anything: blood (yes I can donate if you need me to, hospitals love to have my blood type in hand ;)) or if you need a free babysitter for your grandkids just drop them off at my place, you know I am home :).

I will be praying for her recovery to be quick and uneventful.
