Hello all... well we finally arrived in Trondheim last night at around 9:15 pm. The train ride form Oslo to here was breath-taking.

I've decided my new favorite thing in the whole world is to travel by train through europe.  ;;D (except for the hits and no o2 available for an abort it was absolutely Fantastic.

Svenn and Bente are wonderful hosts and I can't express enough how delightful it is to be with them... and of course Chuck.... He's holding up remarkably well for being such an old fart.

On arriving here last evening we met with a fellow clusterhead, Paul and his wife Hannah and their beautiful children... Funny how regardless of where in the world that you are... meeting a fellow clusterhead always invokes the same feelings... Like meeting a long lost brother or sister.

Soon.. the headache symposium begins ....
We'll keep you all posted on the events.

thanks for the update on your trip! :)

I've been to Trondheim myself and liked it a lot. I hope that you have some pics to show sometime. ;)

I don't know if you guys plan to visit the Nidaros Cathedral like I did and it was absolutely amazing.

Traveling through Europe on a train . . . brings back memories of 18 years ago when brew and I did it.

Our favorite (and we didn't get up as far north as you and Chuck are) was Zurich to Salzburg through the Alps.

Would you believe our hotel is right around the corner from it!!!  We just got back from there !!!  We will do the full tour tomorrow.  

Sorry about pictures, though.  We have no internet access on my laptop.  We are using the hotel's computer right now.

I would post pics, but the naked ones of Svenn are enough to turn your stomach ...

I will have to sort through and try and find some family friendly ones ... Hmmm ... I wonder if I have any of those?

BTW, Trondheim is a BEAUTIFUL city!  The architecture is fantastic!  I love the blending of the old with the new.  It is not uncommon to see a buiding that is several centuries old, right next to a building that is less than ten years old.  AWESOME!  Sometimes they even combine the old with the new.

Well, in case you guys don't have any family friendly pics, why not use little photo shop magic and add peeps some clothes...? ;) And THEN show the pics to us. ;;D

Man Chuck & Tony...traveling Europe on a train and seeing architecture that old would be something anyone would love to do. Sounds awesome !!!
