Title: I'm still here!! Post by swimchica623 on Sep 14th, 2007, 7:08pm Hi everyone!!! I have not forgotten about everybody, I have just been busy getting my life back together and enjoying some more or less pain free time with just a few hits a week. Asthma has been doing well too! I started school three weeks ago and its going well...the grad school program doesn't start till January so I am taking a few undergrad classes to stay on my mom's health insurance, two political science classes to make me a more marketable history teacher and one history class that looked interesting and was out of my normal realm of European social history....American Military History. It's been fun and the class is filled with guys. :-) I'm also taking flute, for the credit and because I never want to stop! I have a great teacher! I can't do college swimming anymore, only allowed to do four years of it, but I am swimming with the masters team at the Y and have the first meet in two weeks so I'm looking forward to that and getting to do some "off events" that I didn't get to do during college swimming, because you only get to swim your best events. But I sure like to do those off events too! I just got a call about coaching for a winter swim team here, just twice a week, and doing swim lessons on those days too. Some of my favorite kids from my summer team might be coming up, so it will be nice to see them. So. That's where I've been, my mom told me that some people have been asking about me, and that's that! Just enjoying getting busy again and getting my energy back from not getting slammed or being on dopeykote (depakote, it makes me soooo tired so I only use it when things get really really bad, I was on IVs of it in the hospital and up to 2000mg of pills out of the hospital) and enjoying life while I can!!! I hope everyone else is having a nice wrap up to their summers, I've been reading around the boards some but haven't been posting much, so I've still been around a little bit! I'm getting settled into more of a routine so I should be back to posting again more regularly soon....I've missed my little internet family! Lisa :) |
