We had a couple of new boards....say like a political board and or a "flame board" basically unmoderated where justabout anything goes?

those are touchy subjects, with war being the outcome. I say, if u have THAT on your mind, you probably are visiting the wrong site. Sorry, that is why I visit this site; to avoid political and plain ole complaining. My hubby is chronic, I come here to learn how to cope and help him, period. Hopefully you will, too! Leah.

ETA: unless this was in reference to the whole population...then i partly agree with you, however, stick to the CH specific boards and you will not see it with exception to FDA debates and those regarding research.

A political board where Charlie and Matt can debate is a great idea, but then again I have never seen 2 people who are in opposition to each others views, behave as respectful as they are when they're doing it. [smiley=laugh.gif]

DJ has already stated several time though...PERSONAL attacks are out of line anywhere on this site, so I doubt he'd give the go-ahead for a place where nasty personal insults fly.

My thinking (which is subject to being flawed) was to allow an area for debate and fun and maybe free the other boards from "touchy" subjects. I have seen other boards where you can "take it to the Flame Board".

Of course personal attacks, serious threats, spam and personal information should be dis-allowed.......other than that enter at your own risk. [smiley=bash.gif]

I am glad Don brought up the quote from the Welcome Page (http://www.clusterheadaches.com/newvisitors.html#familiarize) ...however lower down on the same page is the following......
