Yea, I saw Dale race many, many times, Seen him dominate at Dega Oct. 2000.

I know I missed the movie "Dale" on CMT tonight. My buddies were suppowsed to tape it for me so I can see it when I get home !

Dega is STILL and ALWAYS WILL BE EARNHARDT COUNTRY !!

Missin Dale still ! He'll always be the Intimidater !

Miss him more than you will ever know.

Every time I think about him, this story of Dale as told by Ricky Rudd makes me laugh.

Ricky Rudd -- "In the earlier days we used to wear bubble goggles. We'd always set our helmet on our fire extinguisher bottle [in the cockpit] and at the start of the race we'd always have a new box of bubble goggles sitting there ready to put on.

I can't remember where we were, but I put my helmet on and I went to put my goggles on. This was like a minute before you'd crank your motor. I go to put my goggles on, I pull 'em out of the box -- a brand-new pair -- and there's two eyeballs drawn on the lenses so I couldn't see out of my goggles.

So there was a panic to go get me another pair of goggles at the last minute so I didn't miss leaving the line. That was probably one of the smartest things I had played on me.

And yeah, it was Earnhardt who did it."

Apparently that is the one channel we do not have. :P

I will wait and buy the DVD when it comes out. For those who watched it, was it done well? I for whatever reason decided to tape the 2000 Nascar Cup season and have every race except one, Vegas. I sure am glad I did that. ;;D

The Dale movie is going to be on CMT (Country Music Channel) tonight @8:00.EST.

Cool concert on there now.....ZZ Top and Brooks and Dunn......at least I think that's who they are. [smiley=laugh.gif] Had my eyes dilated at my eye exam this afternoon and can't see very well yet. Look like a darned bug.....grrrrrr.
