Title: #*!&*^% Argh! Post by LindsayLoo on Aug 30th, 2007, 3:38pm I have been on the phone since Monday ( not literally, you know what I mean) calling ALL the assistance centers in this god forsaken town trying to get "assistance/help" on filling, at least, my J tank. It seems I have (just me for some reason) lost my insurance with NO NOTICE from them. We are living paycheck/ paycheck right now and even though it is only $35 bucks to fill the J tank (E tanks I can worry about later) I have to feed my kids. Anyway so EVERY place I have called says they can help me with my scripts but not my oxygen. WTF! Isn't that a script too. I finally did get ahold of someone today that could help me but not till tuesday. I can stand on the street corner holding a sign asking for money and get it by then, heck, pay my mortgage that way too. lol I even called Dependable Health Serv, my o2 supplier, and they were absolutly no help to me whatsoever. Does ANYONE know of any programs that can help me??? Thanks, Lindz I didn't realize just HOW important o2 was before I finally had it and now ran out. Edited for typos |

Title: Re: #*!&*^% Argh! Post by ClusterChris on Aug 30th, 2007, 5:09pm Is there any way you can get the company to bill you for the tank, rather than pay up front? If it is really that much help and you have no other resources pm me. Chris! |

Title: Re: #*!&*^% Argh! Post by LindsayLoo on Aug 30th, 2007, 5:45pm I tired that Chris but THANK YOU. I do believe DH is trying to get an advance on his paycheck as we speak. If they don't I am just going to play beat the check w/ dependable or do one of those check into cash thingy's although I don't really know quite how they work. Edited to add... This just gets better and better...I just got off the phone with Dependable (my arse) and they just now informed me that since I have no insurance anymore I have to pay rental fees for the equipment too...LMFAO..$150.00 bucks plus the cost of the o2. Shouldn't they have told me this on MONDAY. Idiots I swear!! |
