I'm pretty sure I have the winning ticket, but I'll wait till morning to check. ;) I can honestly say I'd give most of it away. I could do a whole lotta good with that much cash. Oh, and I'd quit my job and just do volunteer work. And build a really cool house. |

I would book tickets to the next OUCH convention for myself and my best supporter and wonder where else I've always wanted to travel. Then I'd buy a nice house with a huge balcony, terrace and a garden. I'd take a year off to write a novel. :) I'd probably buy some of my fave books, dvds and country cds, a new handbag (a good one this time!), and set money aside for the future (a car, a wedding, retirement...). Basically I'd live the life I life but add some luxuries to it. :) Sanna |

I'd have them secure and invest the money and create a foundation and a trust naming several carefully selected recipients to receive a monthly check as a base pay... for those on my list of recipients... I would enable them to receive more based on the number of hours they work for non profit organizations of my choosing... in other words... I provide them with a list of non profits... the more they volunteer... the larger their monthly stipend will become. oh... yeah... I'd buy a new couch. with warm regards, Tony |

And I be at the car dealership, get a custom made Hummer with my intials on it...a jag...also custom made. Next a home...a beautiful old victorian...then I'd have the money to resore it...and lots of land and horses. First, I'd be at a financial advisor though...and hire a "dream team" of lawyers. Then...ALL OF US Ch'rs would have a BLOW OUT party...for as long as everyone wanted to stay at my home...even forever!! I'd have a big enough home if I had 3mil. ANd Jonny...over 20 years..NO WAY. A lump sum immediately....I'd be afraid something would get screwed up and i wouldn't receive it... |

I too, would buy a house that looked down on stuff, on lots of land in a state other than Wisconsin so I could keep more of my money. And a cleaning lady - oh yessir, a cleaning lady!! A house with a studio above-ground for me and a sound-proofed studio for the boys. And then I would actually get on a plane (which is a HUGE deal for me) and go kidnap Helen and make sure she gets what she needs in whatever amounts she needs it to make her well again. I agree with brew - hire a lawyer and shut off my phone service. I don't need solicitations from strangers who want the money - I KNOW who needs it. I think it would be fun to set some aside (after taking care of friends, family and charities) with which to play "anonymous benefactor." I hear about a project, or a cause, or a person that needs a boost and then would be able to arrange an anonymous donation - I like the fact that no one would know it's me. Ah well - I didn't win so I'll put those dreams on the back burner and keep moving. |
