If it was a man running for President on Hillary's platform he would be called decisive, assertive, a "take charge" person; a woman is a bitch, lesbian, etc.  Come on women, don't let this slide by.  You will never see a male candidate attacked because of his gender.  This is a crude form of sexism-women shouldn't bother their pretty little heads about politics, right?  Keep them pregnant and in the kitchen!  She's done a great job for NY State and would make a great president, especially compared to the bozos that she is running against ::).  I challange you to a duel with wet t-shirts, matey!  Aaargh, to make it more interesting, we don't wear ANY shirts :o!  Be prepared to meet your maker, Long (?) Jonny Silver! ::)

A picture without any context-what's yer point?  I'm sure that dubya has some unflattering photos as well.  Are we to elect the next president based upon an isolated photo or on their experience and intelligence-and Hillary is one of the most intelligent people to run for president.  The people of NY State are very happy with the job that she has been doing and her Senate job is hers for as long as she wants it (and we New Yoahkers are a hard bunch to impress!).  I challange you to a duel-wet t-shirts at 5 paces-aaarrrgh, matey!

Edith Wilson all but served as president after her husband's stroke of 1919.  I think we're comfortable with powerful women for awhile now.  Perhaps it could be other issues.

I agree about Edith Wilson, who was the defacto President while her husband was recovering from his stroke-now it is time for a woman to be elected President and run the country openly.  Women outnumber men in the US-come on ladies, let's elect one of our own and let history be the judge of how she did.  It is inevitable that a woman will be elected president at some point, as well as a Black person and a Hispanic person; demographics show that the US will be a primarily non-Caucasian country by the end of the century and women of all races will outnumber men (we do already); let our generation make history and elect Hillary!

Ley lines are hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths. Their existence was suggested in 1921 by the amateur archaeologist Alfred Watkins, whose book The Old Straight Track brought the alignments to the attention of the wider public.

Hillary has one such lie line running straight across her face I do believe.

I'm from Michigan and don't recall national resounding accolades when Gerald Ford suddenly stepped in.  His golf game made circus center ring attention a lot.   ;;D

You are a very intelligent woman, Helen.  Surely you do not believe in Ley lines!  What next, phrenology (the study of bumps on the head to determine intelligence, mental illness, etc., a quack 19th century belief that was discredited back then)? ::)

P.S.:  Happy to finally meet you!  I've admired you from afar and enjoy your posts and sense of humor!  You'd make a good New Yoahka (did you know that the NY accent is a remnant of the old English spoken here when we were a colony?  The Boston accent is a remnant also).

Don't know if they are referenced in Gerald Hawkin's "Stonehenge Deciphered".  Only read Fred Hoyle's verification and surprising agreement and supplementation of Hawkin's account.

Hmmmm, damn you, now I have to know.   ;;D

Hey, I'm just a modern man, and up on recent reforms, such as the secret ballot since early 20th century.  No telling 'cause I don't have to.  And when I know I'll find out myself.  It's a secret no one told me yet.

I did some research on these photos:  Hillary had been standing and shaking hands for over an hour after lunch; she had another 100 or so peope waiting to shake her hand and she had to go to the bathroom REAL BAD!  She managed to finish shaking the hands and then was able to get some relief-no MAN could have pulled that off!  Imagine her as president at a meeting lasting hours and no one could leave the room before the issue was resolved!  She'd win hands down!  Go girl!  Biology is destiny!

I said it before, and I'll say it again-

It was a hoot watching gardeners fight over the papyrus plants at this year's garden and patio shows. Botanically speaking, the papyrus is Cyperus papyrus.

As you may remember from elemetary history, this plant is native to Egypt and was used for making papyrus sheets for writing.   ;;D ;;D ;;D

After managing to read half of Hillary's health care plan, many of her published papers and looking at her voting record since being elected. As well as what she has said in the media over the past several years. I've come to the conclusion she would make a far worse president then Bush or Kerry. and I can't stand either one of those individuals.
There must be someone out there worth voting for. Hillary falls very far short of the mark. YMMV

Why would I want to vote for a woman who has literally turned a blind eye to her husband's extra curricular activities (and no, I wouldn't vote for a man who put up with the same sh!t from his wife)?

One time could be forgiven, two times would require some major discussion and possibly marriage counseling, 3 times would be time for a divorce attorney.  How many women have come forward and made accusations of being hit on or actually had an affair with slick willie?
