There is a A LOT wrong with this picture concerning endangerment to others.

A car in park is highly resistant to move much if hit, capable of created a much more devastating collision at freeway speeds.

I wonder what they mean by "complete" this time being the rest of her sentence is so lenient.

These STARS believe they are above the law and can do anything they want without reprecusions..

The sad thing is the Law is allowing this. They get a slap on the wrist. Thats it.

What message is being sent here. If you are a STAR or have lots of money it's okay to break the law, we will just give you a little slap and send you to your room. Everyday people pay the big price, so if you are an everyday Joe look out.

I agree with you jonny -- our butts would be in jail without a second thought.

My 1st DUI cost me 18 hours in jail, loss of my license for a year, $3,000.00 in attorney fees and $2,800 in court costs. I had to attend an 8 hour victims classes and a 16 hour drug abuse class, visit with a court officer once a month for a year and take random urine tests for a year. Just the random tests cost a little over $1,700.

I was 51, other than this DUI (.1) I had a speeding ticket in 1978.

Maybe the rich little bitches wrote a $50K check and all was forgiven.

Why do we "celebrate" these "celebrities"? I see no reason to give them any attention at all. As a commercial driver if I am caught speeding by 15 miles per hour my punishment is much more strict than either of them have gotten. That is without any damage or harm to any other person or property. Not that speeding is right, and I don't. (much) ;;D

The justice system on the left coast has gotten totally out of hand. Justice is supposed to be blind.

I saw those stories on the news...re nichole r. and lindsay l...I didn't think I heard it correctly... [smiley=huh.gif] it was about 4am...

I heard Nicole Ritchie's lawyer's spiel about "overcrowding" blah, blah blah...Im SURE they would've found room for me.... ::)had I been picked up wasted and driving....
