My daughter... ok in-law was involved in a car wreck 14 years ago that she should not have walked away from. (100 mph + in a corvette head on into a concrete pole). She was pretty much rebuilt.

She is having some new issue's stemming from that event where her spine injuries are impacting on renal (kidney) functions.

She has gotten her new MRI's in hand and now needs to find the best Urologist in Houston or further if we must.

If anyone has connections and can refer me to anyone I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry Tim ... I can't help you with anyone in Texas. If you would've said Louisville ... then I might have been worth listening to. :-/

Hi Tim, I know a college there, maybe Rice University, has a very large medical program. I am not sure what they specialize in, but maybe they would be a good resource to call and get direction.

Thanks guy's for your prompt replies. B...I do have a connection at Rice that I have been working with at the Race Park where he was interning during the summer. He is now Chilling for a week before he goes back to complete his MBA.

I am calling him now.

Doc's in teaching hospitals are what you want to investigate.

Thanks Hun, she is seeing a Doc later today and I have a friend at Duke University Hospital (prostate transplant surgeon) who is also doing some checking for me.

OK, that is great. You are already in the right track. it was hard to get some info because our friends Docs are on vacation ;;D.
