OK, It has happened. I became Star Struck and lost my "cool disinterested" "Butler" type attitude backstage last Sat.

To all people....Dilana :-[ She arrived several hours early without having had a chance to grab a bite so the wild scramble to cater to the needs of a band and crew started frantically.

It was immediately apparent that these people were different.

They were real. They appreciated! They had an amazing work ethic. 2&1/2 hr. sound check in Houston were the heat index was 120 degrees. They freakin ROCK!

When Dilana and Magni who had flown in from Iceland just for the gig found out that Linda had watched the tv show also and was glad that neither of them had won because we think Tommy Lee is an over hyped jerkoff famous for one big thing only, they wrote a note and slipped it into my briefcase.

It reads: Dear Linda' So sorry that your not here tonight.

Thank u for loaning us your hubby. Lets meet one day All my love Dilana [smiley=heart.gif]XX..........All of my best, Magni

Oh, and did I mention that Dilana is a little bitty beautiful thing with a whole lot of great tats in a # of interesting places ;;D

also a big hugger and euro style kisser.....I'm screwed...

Now that sounds like fun. I would have loved to seen that concert. I loved Dilana and Magni. I could not understand why he got knocked for actually like playing with the band.

You know I'm not surprised to hear they are [i][/i]real[b][/b] folks. I got that from watching them compete - but you can never be sure really. It must be refreshing to find yourself reacting to these artists after having to deal with so many hacks and egos.
