Title: Surgery For Me ... Post by UN solved on Aug 13th, 2007, 4:58pm Because of the clusters, I need to have Histamine alot. Because of that, I've needed many IV's, which ultimately led to me having a P.O.R.T. put in. Now, the port is bad. This morning 'interventional radiology' looked at me and with some BIG machines, they told me that the line had 'moved up into my neck'. They gave me some drugs and stuck a needle in me near my groin area. They went all the way up through my heart valves and 'lassoed' (sp) the line to pull it back down into place. After it was over I found out that they're not satisfied with its placement. I got to go back down there in the morning for them to remove this port and replace it with a new one. :-/ In the meantime, I'm in the hospital here doing Histamine and steroids. I'll be here for awhile. And since I am here, I'm back on dial-up ::) so I won't be able to read the boards as much ... but I'll try to check in when I can. LIFE IS NOT FAIR !! WISH ME LUCK PLZ !!
