This morning I broke down crying because I felt that something was terribly wrong with this pregnancy. I decided to use my slip from the nurse practitioner to get an ultrasound and was able to get in at 12:30pm today.

Lo and behold, we saw the sweetest little wiggly baby with cute little legs!! Not only that, the tech moved up my due date, which makes me 11 weeks and 2 days today (due date March 1st)!! The heartrate was 171 beats per minute and I cannot tell you just how relieved and happy I am!!! I am tearing up now as I write this!! Here is a pic of our sweet pea!! (I actually think it's a boy, lol)

whoa...that is too wierd...it looks like a tiny human!!!
where do you get photos like that? where do babies come from? is yer husband like a toad? possibly an alien?...i'd watch out for that thing...it may grow

But before you know it, the kid will be a teenager and Mom and Dad won't know anything ;;D

Mel, I know that made you feel better! I think that scare goes though all us Moms when we are expecting. I am glad you went and eased your mind. Plus that is your childs first picture. What a great feeling seeing that.

Can't wait to see that baby in his Moms arms !
