Title: /Huggs CH.com - Still Kick'n'
Post by Tiannia on Aug 13th, 2007, 2:43pm
Hi all. Tia here. Still alive, a bit tired, but you all know how that is.

We are settled in OR. Still Looking for work, but luckly have ccash in the bank still from selling our house, so not in dire straights.

Cant believe that my son is turning 5 in Thursday, 6 months after he was born I started CH'es and came here in Sept. after that.

As far as my head is going, well it is different up here then Vegas, but I suspected that might happen cause of the weather and climate changes.  All in all, it still still not too bad. I'm still on the elavil as a preventative. Where in Vegas this kept me from having a Hit to about 4 times a month, I'm getting hit about 2-3 times a week, but hell I'll take that over the daily hits that I had before my neuro and I started the elavil.  So it is a bonus.   And on top of it, I'd say I have only had 2 in 8 months that have been a k9+.  WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you all and still come to read all the time. I am sorry that it is not more then Vibes that I give atm, but you all are always in my thoughts.

PFDaN-
Blessed Be
Tia

Well, I am taking what I get as a blessing.  I have always worked FT since my kids where 6 wks and I got released from the doc. So having the past 7 months being able to spend time with the kids is something that I have never been able to do, and I am enjoying it.  We got bikes for everyone and have gone bike riding at least once a week, more if I'm not working a temp job for the week and they love going fishing and camping and everything that we never did in Vegas because it was too damn hot.  Got both kids into swim lessons and my 10 yr old who was scared to death of water that she could not touch and be head and shoulders out of it, is not jumping off the diving board into 10 ft and swimming back to the shallow end.  I have more memories of the past 7 months with my kids then I have of the rest of their lives i think.   I would not give that up for the world.

I have an interview with Weyerhauser Thrusday  for an exec assistant job.  I am keeping my fingers crossed, they are a good comp that has great bennies as well.   With both my kids going to school this year, I dont mind goin gback to a full time job.

Right now our ins is thru the state, so if my clusters decided to break thru the elavil preventative, I would be screwed because all I can get is 6 50mg tabs a month.  At least right now, I can usually tell if I am getting a breakthru one and while a tab does not do much, it at least makes me feel like I'm trying and I can fight thru the HA.

Fuk'n' A if the Convention could be in Portland. I have no idea what the hell is up there do do or where to have it or anything (Dont think I could help the pitch except that they would have a talk blonde ready to grab peole at the door  :-*), but I would drag my hubby and kids up ther ena dn spend a day getting hugs.  I have yet to get futher north then Salem, but there is not a damn thing that would stop me even if I could only go for a day.

PF Wishes, love and light.
Tia
