We'll be there. Since we know where you live (it only took 38 hours of cruising around Wauwatosa to find your convertible), we'll just need directions to the racetrack.

Directions to the Speedway (from Milwaukee):

Take I-94 W toward Madison
     
Continue on 240 (signs for Madison/WI-30 W) - 0.3 mi

Take exit 4A on the left to merge onto I-39 S/I-90 E toward Janesville - 3.7 mi

Take exit 142A to merge onto W Beltline Hwy/US-12 W/US-18 W toward Madison - 5.9 mi

Take exit 261A-B for US-151 N/Park St/US-14 E toward Oregon - 0.2 mi

Turn left at S Park St/US-14 E/US-151 S
Continue to follow US-14 E - 10.3 mi

Turn left at Oak Hill Rd - 1.0 mi

Turn left at Sunrise Rd - 0.3 mi


or, to put it more simply:
Take 94, then the Beltline. Get off at Park. Turn left. Then left onto Oak Hill, and left onto Sunrise.

I'll be at the race (obviously)....and I should be at the cookout...just don't know what time I'll be there...what are the directions to get there again?...I have band practice that Saturday at least in the morning.

Jimi...you aren't coming? But I'll be 21...ie...legal  :o   ;)

Say, given the recent weather pattern that seems to have engulfed the state, do you know if this race is a rain or shine event? I imagine that dirt track is kinda muddy right now.

Madison International Speedway is flooded so they had to cancel the race.  They do hope to reschedule it.


Cookout/party at my place on Saturday (4ish) is still on....

Brew grilling burgers for Lizzie.  Liz didn't have a metal spatula for the grill so they improvised and he used a FIREPLACE SHOVEL to turn the burgers.

Pat brought a gorgeous and delicious cake! and brew, as you can see, cooked the burgers for me....

All the gals were in the hot tub. We filled it with lime jello first, tho....
