I lived with this schmuck for years, he's spoon fed and his statement about his sons was all bullshit, the real reason they didn't serve is because they don't serve caviare at the mess hall. >:( Its worth reading, this man wants your vote for the presidency.

Its a Voluntary military and his kids are adults, they can join if they choose.

Wonder how he's going to *mesh* being president and Mormon?  Mormon law is extremely clear about how Sunday's are supposed to be spent and I can guarantee you that it ain't being president (of course he's already violated that clause, so guess he's doomed to hell anyway).

apples and oranges in my opinion, and Jonny's right, the kids make up their own mind.  But Romney's comment that they are serving the country by working for his campaign is pretty stupid and insulting, how does that compare to life-on-the-line military service?    I would not vote for either of these same-as-usual politicians, they are cut from the same corporate-serving cloth.   I am on track to vote for Ron Paul right now.

He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

This one can be tricky. Non-controlling bills have failed. That is good. Most of those bills are attempts by big media to get control and let them sell to us packages of stuff that we now have for free for a shitload of money.

Not sure of the bill he voted against nor am I sure what a libertarian should say about this. Government does a few things right now and then.
