Title: Anybody home...? Post by Ree on Aug 9th, 2007, 9:41am I'm so out of the loop I read here and wonder... how long have I been away? Exciting Summer for us... (NOT) Scotts still in Iraq... the never ending deployment... We got in a car accident... (that I also have PTSD from) Dave broke the same shoulder again (in a golf cart) I just got back from vacation and I got a call from the supervisor at school. I was denied the job I was promised with a great raise etc. Now I have to work a sucky job because it is all that was left! and the clincher...... Breezy is really pretty now and boys of all ages are chasing her all over the place... How is everyone here..... tell me some good stuff... IM Anxious, in pain and stressed... love ree |

Title: Re: Anybody home...? Post by Guiseppi on Aug 9th, 2007, 10:03am There is a lite at the end of the tunnel....although it's possible it's attached to an oncoming train. :-[I still remember when my girls started "developing." We'd be walking thru the mall and boys would be checking them out. My wife disagreed with my idea of beating the first few to a bloody pulp to set the tone for the rest! ;;D They say he never gives you more then you can handle, but sometimes I think he has waaaaaaaayyyy too much faith in our abilities! Hang in there. Guiseppi |

Title: Re: Anybody home...? Post by nani on Aug 9th, 2007, 10:29am Hi Ree!!! I miss you around here. Dang, that's a lot of stuff going on. :-/ If you need to, please consider a little counseling for your PTSD. It doesn't go away without help, and often gets worse. My prayers go out for Scott everyday. Tell Dave that golf is bad for his health, he should just watch it on TV. ;) Sorry about the job, stick with it, jobs come up pretty often in the schools. Of course Breezy's really pretty...look at her Mom. Mooshie is starting to get looked at (ogled) too. I'm considering tiny saltpeter darts I can blow at the boys. ;) Don't be such a stranger, K? love and hugs, nani |

Title: Re: Anybody home...? Post by john_d on Aug 9th, 2007, 8:47pm Hi Ree, Wish Scott would get a break from deployment. It's been too long, I remember being in the military and the way they would yo-yo people around when it came to the length of deployments, it was stressful. Thanks to him for his service though. Car accidents are traumatic, glad you are OK. Hope Dave is. Take care, John |

Title: Re: Anybody home...? Post by Ree on Aug 10th, 2007, 8:53am Hi everyone thanks for the posts... I was away way too long... I keep saying to everyone "where ya been"... and they keep saying "Hey you're the one that was away all Summer"..." my only comment then is "well I got to feed duckies." Positive thoughts... I'm trying to look on the sunny side today... maybe the new med is kicking in (LOL only been on it for a whole day)... Scott will be home in the fall Dave is alive~(so what if the yard work didn't get done this year (((((AAGAINN!!!!!)))) Breezy actually kissed me goodbye today!!! I am looking for a shrink that I won't shrink... have you ever tried counselling it takes a while to find someone you like and trust that won't just say "How do you feel about that?" Last time we tried counselling I found myself thinking... I'll bet shes a sucky mother! hahaha I miss you guys too... and ain't it great that I can come here and vent. love you all Ree |
