I've done something that I hope isn't out of line, and hope it is OK. I have written a letter (email) to the Oprah Winfrey Show, telling her about this organization and the goal to spread the word. I have asked the producers to check out the websites and please consider doing a segment on CH. I don't know if it will do any good, but if it does, then lots of people will hear about this demon. I did not use any names, but my own and Justin Otts website. I gave them several websites to check out, so hopefully they will learn enough to want to do a segment on this.

Well we tried it once before and got no response from her. But who knows, maybe this time it will be different.

I'm glad that you did that. :) I recall reading that some folks have tried that without result in the past; perhaps if she hears about us on many occasions from different people, something will happen! :)

Oprah is on here in Finland, too, and I would not mind at all if she did a segment about ch.

I actually considered about writing to her website and ask for a job! ;) naturally then I'd push ch info so much that she'd wanted to do a segment just to get me off her hair... ;;D

good luck.................compliments on your initiative and persistance . after getting out the information a reality show could be pitched .... sort of like intervention....we could seek help from md's and not quit until we find one with knowledge that will immediately rx o2 and other helpful rxs ............maybe not.....phil h

Good for you, Sharon. Like Jimi said, it's been tried before....but we've gotta keep trying. Maybe your effort will produce some results.

Sending a link to Justin's video can't hurt either....it was VERY well done.

I think it's a wonderful idea...even if it's been done before...obviously we have to keep trying.

My best friend has mentioned that I do that...and I thought she was crazy...but she was very serious about it. And once she get's stuck on an idea, she doesn't QUIT.

I love her for it though...if it wasn't for her, I more than likely wouldn't have oxygen yet or received the care I have. Thanks Sharon...now I can tell her it's been done. I'll even get her on the bandwagon.

Hey Sanna,

Being that you ARE a journalist/writer...(and excellent at it, I might add), why don't you write a letter for us?

You'd do us justice, and as you said, alot of letters from all of us might do it. :)

Thanks for the positive feedback. Perhaps we all need to write to a whole bunch of the shows, Morey, Oprah, Montel, and whoever else we can think of. If we flood the media maybe someone will pay attention. I know my ideas aren't original, but I will keep doing what I can to get the info out there. You guys are all the best.

Yes it has been tried before and failed :(, but as Jackie (who is very high on my people to listen to list) said, we need to keep trying, so good on ya girl.

I will send an e-mail tomorrow using the hometown (Chicago) boy angle and tell them about the Docs at Rush Memorial and Diamond and Mich. headache clinic and Mayo that I went through and their efforts back in 85 to nail down a correct diagnosis.

A note from Sanna would be priceless as would a nice note from our resident wonder witch in London ;;D.

If someone could get to Jazzy and Kaos and Svenn and on and on we might just pull this off. Can't hurt near as much as what is about to happen in my noggin ;)

Sharon,

as you can see, when you start a thread in here, it's quite impossible to predict what will happen - and we clusterheads do get excited! ;;D

Sherri & Tim, when I come out of this caffeine dose, I'll start writing that note/letter to Oprah. I'm going to go to the summer cottage within a hour, so I won't send it today - it's good to take time to make it just right.

My aunt, a journalist herself, has suggested to me, that I would write a ch piece, an article, about clusterheads meeting each other other, this community and what ch is. I haven't done that yet, because I cannot find that magazine from this city yet (I have no idea why! It's a nationwide magazine!) and I need to write s-l-o-w-l-y because of all the typos I keep on making right now.

But now, thanks to your activity, Sharon, I'm seriously planning to write that piece. :) It's a Finnish health magazine, but one has to start from somewhere! ;;D

As they say: What's the worst thing that can happen?....they won't respond. The best is that they will.

Sending a real letter might result in a response in any case. Politicians react to them because they have to look in case there is money in there. ::)

I think we'll allow you to stick around..... 8)
