Title: thunderstorm
Post by phil_h on Aug 8th, 2007, 7:16am
this morning thunder and lightning increased the intensity and length of my regular morning hits ....horrible ,but not new....drops in barametric pressure always have negative impact on my ch's.....today i feel sad and miss the enjoyment i used to experience during rain storms....now most times it only brings shadows and pain.... i know , not a great loss....just something i miss......a couple of morning 8's ended an hour ago,o2-coffe-amp and gel packs did thier jobs.....i was looking out at the rain kind of missing the old me...i know i'm only 6 years into my chronic ch's.........but i'm still redicovering some continuing grief.....oh well...it's off to work hoping for sunny skies....sorry to share such self-pity...just venting a sadness  pfd's for all  phil h

Phil...

it is a big loss...it's one of the "simple pleasures".  I too love the rain, thunder and lightening...especially when it's kicking up before it happens and it's really windy...I like to go outside...

It DEFINATELY causes pain...my husband has a great love of the weather...one of the rare people who wanted to be a meteriologist...he actually would stay outside all the way through the storms...even in Florida!!

He wanted me to put a white football helmut on a go out there with him :-/ :o!!  I said "NO WAY...that helmut doesnt match my outfit!" ;;D

I'm trying to add some levity...I know what you mean...hang on Phil. :)

Hang in there Phil.. I'm right there with you on thunderstorms.  8 out of 10 kick my eye out.  The other two I just enjoy the light show.

Phil,
I'm so sorry that your hits are harder... [smiley=hug.gif]I must admit that the sunshine and the heat are doing the same for me. Personally I'm not a fan of thunder anyway, but rain is nice... I like that one. :)

PF days,
Sanna
