I haven't seen the original one, but somehow the words "more corny" kept on coming to my mind... But thank you for posting this, Sherri.

ME TOO SANNA!!  I felt rude for it!

My good friend sent me that...and neither of us could decide whether to laugh, be embarrassed or be jealous it wasn't us getting to dance!!

You are funny...thank you for your honesty! :D

Deep down inside we're probably jealous Barry...although the improv on the jump at the end , in my opinion is embarassing for both the bride and groom...

Woman's perspective: "What are you trying to tell me?? Im too fat for you to lift me?? It takes two grown men??

Mans perspective:" I could've done it myself, it's just my shoulder is out right now."

I think they were just playing it safe. I have seen some pretty bad falls at wedding's and this couple looks to me like they did not want to spend the night in the local emergency room or worse. :o

I love watching others dance, especially classical ballet takes my breath a way. I can't dance to save my life, so when I see people who can dance well, I admire it. But being jealous? Nah, but admiring, yes. :)

Weddings and alcohol seem to bring out the best in people, don't they?

Bar,

I couldn't get it to continue to play...I only say the first clip...and OMG...I hope she isn't a CH'r!!! ;;D ;;D ;;D

I will try again later...maybe it's my computer...Im sure it's hilarious...as weddings and alcohol certainly have a way of bringing out the "party animal" in people!!

Looked like fun.  Thought they did something that they'll never forget about their wedding. Cool.

Glad the men assisted in the lift, a very safe thing to do to avoid a potential honeymoon affecting accident.

Yeah echo...that lift had the potential of going really wrong...like her landing directly on her head amongst a hundred other possible injuries...

But believe me, if my husband said, (and Im sure innocently), "You know, Im going to ask Joe and Ted to help with catching you on the lift..."  I KNOW I would've asked, "Why??  Im too heavy to catch?"  Especially if he caught me (pardon the pun) at the wrong time of the month...

It couldn't possibly be my safety he would be concerned about... ;;D  Andyes..., they and all of their guests will certainly remember that dance..

COOL!  I liked it!

I went to a wedding where the entire bridal party  did a re-enactment of  pretty much the whole movie Grease!  It got a little old after awhile.

Although I really love the movie "Grease" Im not a fan of musicals...I could never accept people breaking out into song while living :-/...i.e. eating dinner and jumping up on the table suddenly...it would probably frighten and startle me :o...and I think hours of acting out Grease would irriate me....(is "Breakfast as Tiffany" a musical..I love that..."Moon River"...aah...but she doesn't sing it suddenly).  I also love that movie "Auntie Mame"... I can't get enough of it (I should mention Im not a fan of "old" movies either...but those two I truly love...even my husband likes them...)

I watched the "Dirty Dancing" clip again...and it occurred to me that it was the thought...not actualy the dance or if they were great or not.

If my husband would do that for me, I'd be so moved  by the gesture.  I love to dance..."dance" is not in his vocabularly.  No matter how bad he was, it woud mean alot to me....so Im leaning towards cool... [smiley=curtain.gif] [smiley=hug.gif]

I know Im not in the "inner" circle, but I do remember you mentioning you and your wife are competitive ballroom dancers...very cool.

I also know it takes a hell of alot of work to make it look so effortless.   I would love to take classes. :)  The groom was adorable in re-enacting the dance...

That's the very beauty of musicals - they require us to suspend reality for a short time and say, "wouldn't it be cool if real life WERE like that?"

The message is never "This is how life is."

My wife and I did a swing dance on stage in front of 400+ people.  It involved several lifts, and numerous flips, we practiced nightly for a month and I was still so concerned I'd jack it up and drop her.  All came out fine, had a great time.  That was 12 years ago, I was in much better shape then.

All in all it was a blast.

Ummm...that knowledge put you in the "inner circle" silly....everyone else thinks I'm studying the martial arts on Friday Nights...Tae-Kwon-Tan-Go....ancient Chinese Art...........
