Have not touched Vista yet.  I have a linux partition on my puter (ubuntu with kde) and I find myself using it more and more.  Linux is very nice and if people new how easy it is to use these days, like installing Ununtu, more people would try it.  Problem is there are very few top-of-the-line games, plus Itunes doesn't port to it.  The same things that make linux, free and open, nice make it hard for software companies to make money on developing apps for it.  It's always gonna be a weakness.

Yes, I know, but it's just a bit of overkill. Since I got this laptop with Vista Ultimate on it, it's been a lesson in frustration.

I've got Fedora Core 6, 64 bit, on my 64 bit machine, Fedora 7 on my 32 bit machine, and XP media on the HP. My IBM laptop has XP Pro on it, and of the Microsoft OS's, I like it best. I've been running Fedora since core 2, and I like it, it's just not all programs are available in 64 bit yet. But that goes for any OS.

Better than this? (http://compiz.org/Home/Screenshots)

Microsoft, always a step behind.
