What does this mean?  That one can't participate in certain topics?  Or is it a warning?   Thanks in advance for educating me...I too, am slowly navigating and trying to learn...    Thanks, Sherri

What posts are you talking about?  If it's locked, you can't post on it.  If it's a sticky, it was made that way so it wouldn't get lost in the other posts.  AFIK, you can post on sticky subjects (but not if they're locked).

Darlin,

I was looking at the bottom of the board and have wondered what these terms meant.

I don't understand many acronyms...so if I don't respond, Im not being rude, I just don't know what they stand for.  I appreciate your taking the time to help me.
                                           Sincerely,  Sherri

The webmaster (DJ) can lock a thread meaning you can not post to it any further.

If he sticks it then it stays on top of the board but you can still post to it.
