Title: "Locked""Sticky" "Sticky Post by sldrswyfe on Aug 4th, 2007, 5:11am What does this mean? That one can't participate in certain topics? Or is it a warning? Thanks in advance for educating me...I too, am slowly navigating and trying to learn... Thanks, Sherri |

Title: Re: "Locked""Sticky" "Sti Post by deltadarlin on Aug 4th, 2007, 9:49am What posts are you talking about? If it's locked, you can't post on it. If it's a sticky, it was made that way so it wouldn't get lost in the other posts. AFIK, you can post on sticky subjects (but not if they're locked). 'darlin |

Title: Re: "Locked""Sticky" "Sti Post by sldrswyfe on Aug 4th, 2007, 12:27pm Darlin, I was looking at the bottom of the board and have wondered what these terms meant. I don't understand many acronyms...so if I don't respond, Im not being rude, I just don't know what they stand for. I appreciate your taking the time to help me. Sincerely, Sherri |

Title: Re: "Locked""Sticky" "Sti Post by chewy on Aug 4th, 2007, 3:10pm The webmaster (DJ) can lock a thread meaning you can not post to it any further. If he sticks it then it stays on top of the board but you can still post to it. |
