As of 12:13 am CDT on August 4, 2007 I am now a grandfather. ;;D

Patrick James Callison
Wt 8 lbs 4 oz
Length 22 in.

Isn't that WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Im thrilled for you Grandpop..or "Pop-Pop" or whatever you will be called by your new grandson.

What a blessing. Im so happy to hear he's healthy and happy... and Im sure will be loved to shreds! I hope "mommy and daddy" are well too!

There's absolutely nothing like a new life...no sound like the first cry.

Few realize what an influence they make on a new life.

Hope the following has meaning.......

A Little Fellow Follows Me

A careful man I ought to be,
a little fellow follows me.

for fear he'll go the self-same way.

I cannot once escape his eyes,
whatever he sees me do, he tries.
Like me, he says, he's going to be,
the little chap who follows me.

He thinks that I am good and fine,

I must remember as I go,
thru summers' sun and winters' snow.

I don't know the author, but I'm sure we can find who it is.

After losing my fourth pregnancy and finally having a full term healthy baby, this poem has stayed with me for almost a lifetime.

You wll have the most blessed time with your grandson. It is a different kind of "love" than you've experienced before.

I am so happy for you both !!
