Title: Re: 22 Hours Post by Brewcrew on Aug 4th, 2007, 1:21am The best (and one of the only) thing I remember about that day? Turning toward the congregation when the pastor introduced us as Mr. & Mrs. Mitchell, walking back down the aisle, reaching over with my left hand and holding my bride's hand. It was so soft yet so confident. I'll never forget that feeling. |

Title: Re: 22 Hours Post by sldrswyfe on Aug 4th, 2007, 1:45am Alright Bill...I didn't expect to sit here bawling at 1:30a.m....but that is really beautiful. Kimmie, take in every second of this...it's but a fleeting moment...don't get distracted with details...but keep your eyes on the love of your life. I will be thinking of you...in fact Im actually nervous right now! [smiley=huh.gif] THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF A WONDERFUL LIFE! All of my best to you and your soon to be "Husband" (like the sound of that??) Sherri |

Title: Re: 22 Hours (6 Hours) Post by kimmiedawn81 on Aug 4th, 2007, 8:00am Well, last night was a horrible night. My parents, sister, brother-in-law and niece were an hour late to the rehearsal dinner, which always makes a wonderful impression on friends and soon-to-be family. All because my parents were so excited to see their grandchild, which I understand, but they see their grandchild more than they see me. It's my wedding weekend...I couldn't believe they were an HOUR LATE! I was livid....So, later on after Brian and I had left the dinner, we headed back to the chapel to decorate and I started to cry...and I called my mom and told her that I was really disappointed and that I was embarrassed that they were an hour late. I don't ask to be the center of attention EVER...so I guess I just wanted that this weekend. |

Title: Re: 22 Hours (6 Hours) Post by Brewcrew on Aug 4th, 2007, 10:03am Control what you can, let go of the rest. Easy to say, hard to do. My prayer for you and Brian this morning is that you will be able to let go of the stuff you can't control and enjoy the day despite it. You've already been the subject of all those "rest of your life" prayers. Knock 'em dead, Kimmie and Brian. Today is your day. |

All of the worry of this day will be a blur during the honeymoon... so keep it light and realize that it will be a sweeter memory if you don't cloud it with worry. with warm regards, Tony |

I think that last thing (no offense everyone :)) I'd be concerned about is"home" on my honeymoon...especially with the opportunity to be on "vacation" in paradise...with the love of my life. Kimmie, we'll surely be here when you return. Now, focus on that husband of yours and having alot of fun...this doesn't come around too often. :) |
