Thanks a lot guys!! :'(

I have a family member who is very sick (she is my aunt) and we are trying to help bring her back to normal. Right now she is lost in her mind...somewhere...she is not recognizing anyone and it is a very hard situation for all my family..

yeah.. I think She  needs some vibes..I know for sure all the waves of  love and care from this community can make it happen..

She is a 68 years old woman who is acting right now like a toddler because of epilepsy and parkinson's disease..one single attack changed everything...

it si hard to know that someone you love and who you just spoke to a few days ago now does not even know who you are... :'(

I appreciate from the bottom of my heart all your prayers and vibes.

Oh Rosy - that IS sad. I hate the way these diseases make strangers of loved ones.

Rosy - I know just how you feel.  (The best way we coped with it )- she may have forgotten who you are, but treat her like you still know her.   She may not be able to respond on the outside, but who knows what's going on inside.

Just keep on loving, that's the key.

Wise words from Pepp, very wise.  Try to make sure that you make eye contact when you talk to her (or anybody talks to her).  Hold her hand while you talk to her.  *Touch* would be the sense least affected by a seizure and can *touch* can sometimes get through when words can't.

Thank you all!!

My mom has been with her all day and she said that when she talks to her sometimes My aunt smiles  :)
according to the Neurologist that is a good sign, she may be able to listen...but she keeps having seizures all day long...

I just hope she comes back soon.....

Sure, her name is Honoria.
We even share the same Birthday: december 30 th.
For those who are not catholic, a lot of catholics pick a name from the saints of the day they are born.
My grandfather got her name out of those...luckily my Mom didn't like any for me and she gave me her name.  :) or I would be named: Honoria, Sabine, Gregory or  Venustianne.

Ok..I don't think this is going better...My aunt went into a respiratory failure at midnight and she was under crisis for several hours..

The neurologist said that he can't increase the meds because she will be totally doped and they will have to leave the breathing tube in...

we are just praying that she will get out of this one...her other organs are not cooperating either..she has a kidney infection and her inmune system is going crazy..

the brain is a powerful machine...so sad that we all are DRain BAmage  :-[
