Dear family,

mum just told me that our next-door neighbor from Helsinki, Risto, man who is the closest to be a grandfather to me, is hospital right now. :'(

He is in his late 70s and his heart is failing. Apparently only 20 percent of his heart is working and there's very little that can be done anymore. Much has been done over the past few years and his heart is now tired. :(

When my dad had brain cancer, it was Risto who drove him to the hospital for treatments when mum coudn't. It was Risto, who gave mum some driving lessons after years of being just a passanger. Each time I go home, Risto asks me "how's your head?" and he never ever lets anyone pass him by without making their day bit happier and brighter. He has amazing spirit and joyful attitude towards life. He's truly Mr Optimistic. :)

So, join me in sending some prayers & vibes his way.

Thank you all so much for sending prayers and vibes to Risto. He's one special man and I sure hope that he'll be around for years to come. People like him make this world a brighter place to live. I will update as soon as I know more. :)
