Linda and Jim cruised through Podunk, Oklahoma and graced us with their presence Friday evening. We did lots of catching up and talking about CH, the convention and just stuff in general. I torched a few steaks on the grill and the reunion continued until everyone got too tired to talk anymore. Here's a couple pics:

Linda said to let everyone know they were still alive and kicking on their meandering trip across the country.

Man, I love getting together with other clusterheads and supporters. If ya ain't done it - DO IT! Whether it be DavCon, the OUCH Convention, meet & greets across the country, however you can - JUST DO IT! You'll be sooooo glad you did.

First... a bazillion apologies for forgetting to take any pics. :-[
I was just so excited they were actually here. :D

They took a couple and may post later (only if I don't look as bad as I think I did, LOL)

Well, Linda and Jim spent the evening here. Wow... it was so good to see them, and having missed Richmond, I was jonesing for some quality cluster schmoozing. We hung out, had pizza, talked, laughed... well you know. They were gone before I even woke up, so I didn't have a chance to offer a cup of coffee this morning. :'( (Bob said thanks for the paper at the door)

I'm going to say it again...if you haven't met up with another clusterhead...don't delay!!! It's an awesome thing, and the bond is instant and deep.

Linda and Jim came here after they left Jimi and Ruthie's place in KY.............have pics but Dave hasnt d/led them to the puter yet. ::) When they are on here Ill post'em

This month-long vacation we took wouldn't have been nearly as great as it was, if it hadn't been for seeing Jimi and Ruthi at their house, as well as at the convention, Dave and Leesa and little Mykee, Gator and Jayne and now Nani and Bob.

Thank you all for your hospitality and if I could pay back the electricity we used..I would.

We're in Kingman, Az right now. A horrid little town in the desert and heading on in to Los Angeles tomorrow. (A horrid big town) for my sons surprise birthday party and then back up north to home. What I've seen of the U.S. has been so totally awesome to me. America really and truly is beautiful.

My one regret is that I couldn't take a side trip to Phoenix to see Alchemy (Jim) again.

Thanks for the pics! By the way, Road Warriors, while I was watering the plants this morning I noticed that the color on your house was, well, bland. I spruced it up a bit-some tropical colors, flamingo topiaries...well, I sure hope y'all like it....next time leave a key and I'll repaint the interior. ;;D
