Title: Convention residuals Post by JenniferD on Jul 18th, 2007, 7:41pm I had the chance to call my mom today and tell her about the convention. Mom and Dad, though lovingly concerned, have shown little interest in this "problem" of mine. They have told me to contact my uncle who was a leading headache researcher with menstrual/cyclical migraines some 15 years or so ago. (No diss to my uncle, but this isn't quite the same.) So.......I'm yappin away telling Mom all about the convention and told her to get on here and look up the threads about Richcon and see the pics and reactions and ya know what? I think she might actually do it! So maybe, JUST MAYBE, my mom might get on here and check us out and edumacate herself to this lil headache thing. I guess I'll have to keep the crazy mom posts to the treetops LOL But hey, how cool would that be if mom and dad gave enough of a rats ass to look us up and learn a little something???! Just had to share. |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by Rosybabe on Jul 18th, 2007, 7:46pm That would be very cool! I had already show the site to my mom and translate a few posts and she loved the fact that I found MY PLACE!! :D |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by ClusterChuck on Jul 18th, 2007, 8:36pm So does that mean we have to keep quiet about the mad, wild, kinky sex that was happening just outside of the camera's view? Chuck |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by Jonny on Jul 18th, 2007, 8:40pm Maybe I should remove my post in your other thread about great sex......LOL ;;D My Mom comes here from time to time just to see what im up to, 70 years old and has nothing better to do but check up on me.......LMAO [smiley=laugh.gif] |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by JenniferD on Jul 18th, 2007, 8:50pm There will be NO removing of ANY threads. Its time I'm a big girl and get over my parental fears. Hell, its only taken me 44 years to say that. So wild kinky great sex on the sidelines is what mom is gonna hafta see! (not really mom, I'm still a virgin, I swear. Those kids were immaculately conceived) |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by sandie99 on Jul 19th, 2007, 5:19am Jen, I do hope that your mum will pay us a visit! :) Mums... I've told mine about this place several times and shown her this site when I visit her, but she doesn't really pay that much attention. In fact, before my trip to UK she warned me from "concentrading on that head thing" too much... ::) She used to tell our relatives that ch is sort of a migraine, so I've spent a lot of time doing damage control. :-X But, she was more supportive about ch when I started getting hit again after remission, so I still have hope that one of these days she will get it. :) PF wishes, Sanna |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by sldrswyfe on Jul 19th, 2007, 10:36am Jen & Sanna, Yeah, the "mom" thing. I have the same reaction...even after she's watched me get hit hundreds of times... Well, Im glad Jen and Sanna that you are making some progress. Since I've come back to Pa (lived in Fl for 6yrs until ten months ago), both of my paren'ts are a bit more understanding when I tell them "Im not well"...but they didnt take initiative to come here to CH.com...even though I have encouraged them to. So I printed out alot of information and gave it to them. :) |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by nani on Jul 19th, 2007, 11:40am I hope your Mom comes by, Jenn. Mine used to say..."Well, at least you don't get migraines, like me." I do want to throw this out there, in defense of seemingly thoughtless mothers, though. If my kids had this, and I wasn't well informed, I'd probably rather think they were total drama queens, than admit they suffer in this way. Denial is a powerful tool, used often to protect ourselves. |

Title: Re: Convention residuals Post by Rosybabe on Jul 19th, 2007, 1:04pm My mom gets migraines and when she asked me how much mine hurts I told her like yours but 1000 times more painful. That says it all ;;D. Now when I am having a hit and she is around she is crying with me :'(. I love my Mom. [smiley=inlove.gif] |
