Title: Re: chuck Post by Sandy_C on Jul 17th, 2007, 5:05pm OMG! Steph, thanks so much for letting us know. I had seen the pic of Chuck's truck loaded with the 02 tanks, and when you said he had been hit, I immediately thought the worst. I met Chuck in person last year at the Milwaukee convention, and I immediately loved him. He is almost my neighbor, I live near Greensboro, NC. I was so sad that after registering and booking my hotel room in Richmond, that the "powers that be" dictated that I couldn't get out of work, so I had to bail, and I didn't get to see my Chuckie-poo (kilt and all). Give Chuck a big, but gentle, hug from me and tell him that I'm here, in NC, and if he needs anything, let me know. Sandy |

Title: Re: chuck Post by artonio7 on Jul 17th, 2007, 5:35pm Update on Chuck. I just got off the phone with him and he and his brother-in-law are en-route to Carol's home where he will spend a few days recuperating. He did fracture a vertebrae in his neck and the doctor's want to take a wait and see approach... of course Light-duty is mandatory. His general disposition is (well... you know Chuck) sunny and upbeat. Knowing Chuck... he'll be online as soon as he can to touch base. with warm regards, Tony |
